Dear Tweed,
|

God is doing amazing things here at EFC-SW that can use a blanket of prayer!
Scott and Andrea Sward have arrived in Cambodia! It has been a long and hard year for them, but God has continued to give them a vision for reaching southeast Asia and they have listened to His voice. Praise God!
Additionally, Micah Hillis has agreed to go as a "Servant" to Cambodia, working with DJ Colfax as he home-schools. Please pray for him as he leaves on September 24 to start his year-long journey.
Our new missionary family, Fede and Diane Hernandez plan to be in California for church visitation starting in mid-October.

This year marked the 6th
Annual Youth Camp. It was bittersweet
for me. Ultimately, my job is to work myself
out of a job. We made a huge step in
this process. The National Youth Council planned,
budgeted, organized and taught at the retreat.
My role was relegated to preaching the opening night and sitting in the
back being pround of the amazing job they were doing... click for more |

August
was a busy month for us visiting with family and some churches here on the east
coast. A Hispanic church in Newark, NJ invited us to
share about our call to missions and the work going on in Cambodia. The Sunday we spent with that congregation was a true blessing for our whole
family. Our own church family here in Allentown, PA
has been a great encouragement as well... click for more
