Dear Tweed,
Gary with Farms Committee
God is doing amazing things here at EFC-SW that can use a blanket of prayer!

Scott and Andrea Sward have arrived in Cambodia! It has been a long and hard year for them, but God has continued to give them a vision for reaching southeast Asia and they have listened to His voice. Praise God!

Additionally, Micah Hillis has agreed to go as a "Servant" to Cambodia, working with DJ Colfax as he home-schools. Please pray for him as he leaves on September 24 to start his year-long journey.

Our new missionary family, Fede and Diane Hernandez plan to be in California for church visitation starting in mid-October. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to have them visit your church or small group this fall. Be sure and read their link and pray for them as they embark on this adventurous journey.

Thank you for your prayers on all our missionaries' behalf!
                                            Blessings,
                                            Rosalie Hamman

Levi is a young man from a village near Pray Svay, the oldest boy amongst 7 children--all sisters.  As the only boy, he has a lot of responsibility to provide for his family.  He worked hard in school, was able to graduate, and even found a way to get himself into college in Battambang City... click for more

This year marked the 6th Annual Youth Camp.  It was bittersweet for me.  Ultimately, my job is to work myself out of a job.  We made a huge step in this process. The National Youth Council planned, budgeted, organized and taught at the retreat.  My role was relegated to preaching the opening night and sitting in the back being pround of the amazing job they were doing... click for more

August was a busy month for us visiting with family and some churches here on the east coast.  A Hispanic church in Newark, NJ invited us to share about our call to missions and the work going on in Cambodia. The Sunday we spent with that congregation was a true blessing for our whole family.  Our own church family here in Allentown, PA has been a great encouragement as well... click for more

In January of 2009, a medical team came to Cambodia. They were very helpful in making contact into different communities. Since then we have continued to do some follow up. The global economic crisis affects us even here in Cambodia.  With a shortage of jobs comes a rise in corruption.  The police want money for just about everything.  Many of the young men from our church do not have work, and are starting to get desperate for money for basic necessities.  Rithy is a young man who was approached by another Christian organization... click for more

Guess what?? We have a target date! We are now very hopefully
aiming to leave for Cambodia, September 1st! While everything is
