Children's Ministry
KIDMO & Lil K, Nursery

Bringing our children closer to God has been the focus of our lessons for the past several weekes and continues through April. These are such awesome lessons to plant into eager hearts. Helping them learn "I can talk to God," "I can forgive," and "God's Top Ten" (commandments) are basics to learning what God wants everyone to be. Bringing the basics into these young lives gives each of them a boost to live in God's way even at a young age..

Suggestion: Talk briefly with your child(ren) about what they learn in KIDMO & LIL K. This will be a good review for them, a good connection time for you, and an opportunity for you to support this learning during the week.

Ignite Sunday School

Did you know there is a children's class at the 6:00pm service? For those of you prefer the evening time of worship and hand young children, you can focus on adult worship while your children can have fun & learn in our relaxed, Christian environment. We start with free choice activities during arrival time. This helps our children get to know each other in a fun atmosphere. Next is our lesson time. Here we learn about people in the Bible, i.e. Jesus, David, Jairus' daughter, and many more. We usually have a craft that supports the night's lesson too. Following is free time or perhaps a Veggie Tales video until parents arrive. By the end, your child should feel smarter, encouraged, and happy they came.

Teachers:  Cyndi, Paula, Amy, Wendy

Children's Ministries Upcoming Events

You know that our Eggs-travagnza on Saturday April 3rd is made for kids, right?! Little Kids, medium kids, and big kids. Be sure to put it on your calendar. It's a MUST!

Serve Day
Thanks to our Children's Ministry team of Shirlie, Amber, Mary, and Wendy for being at Fremont Park on Serve Day to reach out to young children. We had tattoos, balloons, crafts, stickers, crepe paper flags and more. Just being able to interact with parents while engaging the children with fun stuff (they couldn't believe it was all free) was a blast. We were able to share info about Midtown Church with parent(s). We pray that the seeds of love and kindness that were planted will flourish with God's hand.

Daily Bible Verse

  • Isaiah 53:3-4
“He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted.”
